A good friend described her effort to make the world a better place as "putting shovels in the ground." This is one of my "shovels in the ground" efforts. I have had an amazing opportunity to learn so much through DFJ Year of Impact about immigration challenges and the hardships it causes. It's time for action. I have an opportunity to go, serve, and learn more as I continue this journey of discipleship.
Designed For Joy is leading a team of 15 women to the U.S. Mexico border this September for a service learning trip that is immersive, educational and will intentionally place our team into the lives of immigrant leaders serving families on the U.S. & Mexico border.
